On February 21st, 2012, five members of the Pussy's Riot Movement performed “A Punk Prayer” at Moscow’s Cathedral of Christ the Savior, a protest event that would not only affect members of the feminist punk collective forever, but place Russian’s human rights violations in the global spotlight.
